God evening to each of you! I pray this message finds you well and in great spirits. I’m sure many of you are out celebrating Valentine’s Day, but I wanted to dedicate a post to LOVE……
When I speak of love, I’m not referring to just any kind of love! I’m referring to that unconditional love…..infallible LOVE! That love that is never changing, always consistent and constant, that inspite of kind of LOVE……
Infallible is defined as never failing; always effective; trustworthy, reliable, sure, dependable, safe proof, incapable of being wrong or making a mistake! And we all know LOVE is defined as a deep affection……but when you put the two together you get something extraordinary.
When I speak of Infallible Love, I speak of a love that only God is capable of giving. Yes, I know that your family loves you, your mate loves you, and even your children love you, but there is no love that quite compares to the “Infallible Love” of Christ. The greatest expression of that love is when Christ gave his life so that we may have this life abundantly. We have people that are willing to go above and beyond for each of us….even to the point of inconveniencing themselves but it still isn’t to the degree of giving oneself totally.
See the thing is, Christ gave himself totally for each of us. He just didn’t merely do us a favor, or gave a great reference on our behalf…..but He totally wholeheartedly unconditionally gave life for us. How many people can you really call on right now that would without a doubt give life for you and not ask one question? I’ll let you ponder that for a moment…
The thing about that “Infallible Love” you won’t have to worry about Christ asking for His life back when He gets upset or we do something to disappoint him. Although, He does want us to serve Him and be obedient to His word. But never will he pull grace from you…..because even in all of our shortcomings His LOVE will still be efficient and never failing. This earthly love has it’s limits, but where earthly love ends id where that infallible love begins.
So as you celebrate this day of Love, I encourage you to celebrate that infallible love that Christ gives us each day; that infallible love that Christ shows and gives us is beyond human capacity but it’s a love that is given freely, we must be willing to accept.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you! God bless
