Through the Fog

Good morning…..

I pray this message finds you well and in great spirits.
I experienced bit of an “aaah ha” moment on my way to work a few mornings ago and I thought I would share with you….because I love you!
The fog was heavy; unusually heavy on Monday morning. I didn’t think much of it at the time. I actually kind of underestimated the fog until I turned on to the main road that I use for my morning commute. Anyways, as I was traveling, I noticed a car just a few hundred feet ahead of me. The car was driving extremely slow, so I tried to see if anything was coming so I could maybe pass….that was a no go, because I couldn’t see a thing. I guess, hence the reason why the car ahead of me was driving so slow.
As I kept driving the fog became worse. At this moment, I’m a little nervous because I couldn’t see much at alI, so I just slowed down. I believe in that moment God spoke to my spirit. Because, although I couldn’t see much as I kept driving the road kept appearing. Every inch, every mile of the road was there without a doubt.

It reminds me of the quote, “take each step even if you don’t see the staircase”

That’s exactly how God wants us to see Him….through faith. Life can throw you so may uncertainties. It may rock your faith, causing you to lose focus and stumble. It can bruise your confidence causing you to lose trust. But that’s not what God teaches us to do. God instructs us to keep our eyes on Him because He will keep us. Just like the story of Peter when he walked on water; as long as he kept his eyes on Christ he was fine, but as soon as he began to focus on the water he began to sink.

Therefore, I encourage you today, that you may encounter a little fog in your life, and you become unsure, but just trust God and take another step, because eventually the fog will lift, and your vision will become clear. Don’t let the fog become the main attraction. But with each step in faith, just trust God, He won’t let you fall. God knows what we need, and He will make provision for all that you need in each moment. So, don’t worry about the miles ahead, God will make that clear when you get there.

I hope this has encouraged you….I pray you have a marvelous day. God bless! ~BlessingsFlow
