FEAR: False. Evidence. Appearing. Real
Faith is defined as belief in what you cannot see; trust in something or someone; belief without proof; complete trust or confidence
Fear is defined as a strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger; reason for alarm; being afraid.
The word faith appears in the King James version of the Bible more than 336 times. God reminds us continually to fear not, only believe. In Hebrews 11:1 state, now faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen. In Mark 5:36 states and Jesus told them, fear not, only believe.
My favorite scripture, Isaiah 41:10 states, so do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I think it’s safe to say God is a reassuring God. He knew that through the trials that we face in this life, we would certainly need some reassurance.
Faith your Fear! I have been fearful and afraid many times in my life. There have been times when I just wanted to tuck my tail and run. There have been moments when I just wanted to give up and hide from it all, but God said not so. I am reminded of a quote that I read some time ago, it said, “I threw in the towel, and God threw it back”. When I first read this quote, I laughed because this was me a time or two. But God reminded me who I was and who’s I am! In the words of my dad, “I didn’t raise no quitter”!! Lol!
Faith your Fear! This is not always an easy task. In the flesh, we tend to trust what we see because its tangible; we see it and we feel it; and often what we see and what we feel very real. The feeling of fear can be crippling; it can cause you to forget everything you know about faith. However, how many do you know that often what you see is not the finale. God tells us in Hebrews 11:6 that it is impossible to please Him without faith. The antidote to fear is faith; faith is fears kryptonite. Fear is temporary, but let your faith be constant. Faith does not negate troubles; however, it gives you strength to overcome those troubles.
Faith your fear! Fear is necessary because it causes one of two reactions, fight or flight. Let your faith be the consequence to your fear. Your dreams need you; someone is depending on the dream that will manifest through you. Faith your way through the dark places, the places of uncertainty and doubt, the places that are not clear, through the oppositions. God didn’t promise that it will be easy, He promised to never leave you. So, fight, persist, be intentional…..its working for your good!
I pray this has encouraged you. I hope you have an amazing week……God bless, blessings flow!
