You trust God? Well, if you do, you’ll find yourself in a place at some point in life where God will test what you’re made of. However, if you haven’t, just keep living. God wants to know if we are living by the profession of our faith, or by the profession of what we see.
Life will test what you confess. God may ask, so you trust me huh?! ….well let’s put that to the test. God may say oh, so I can have my way…..ok, let’s see then! You profess, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Well, God may say, have you considered my servant “your name here”? (If you know the story of Job then you know what I’m talking about). God will allow test to see if you’re tried and true….If you mean what you say or what you say is for show. In 1 Timothy 6:12 is says to fight the good fight of faith, so as a Christian we are called to two thing, to have faith and to fight.
You remember growing up as a child and playing house with baby dolls, or racing with your bicycle as if it was a motorcycle…..we called it “play play”. Well guess what, life isn’t for play play, it’s for real and God ain’t looking for play play people; play play servants; play play righteous people or play play warriors. There’s is no deliverance without affliction, and there is is no testimony without a test. There is a plan and purpose for your life. If it was easy, anybody would do it. But, YOU are called to it.
YOU HAVE GOT TO LEARN HOW TO FIGHT!
What I’ve learned is that the enemy has a field day with people who fight with empty words….cussing and fussing and complaining etc. People of God fight in prayer, confessing and professing God’s word, not your own. The enemy is not of afraid of your empty words and empty professions. The enemy attacks where you are most vulnerable and he doesn’t fight fair. So, since we know this we have a responsibility to be prepared, ready and always on guard because as the word of God says, the enemy goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour and destroy. People of God prepares themselves for battle in prayer, reading and applying the word of God to our lives. Truth is, life presents many battles, but you don’t prepare for a fight in the fight; you prepare for the fight before the fight ensues. The word of God is your training grounds. You may say, well I don’t know how to fight, well I say to you, get in your Word. Fight your way through it! You’re disappointed, angry or frustrated, fight your way through it. You’re depressed, feeling like you should be further along in life, fight your way through it. Your job, your marriage, your career or even your family isn’t going well, fight your way through it. Whatever, it may be, fight your way through it. God teaches us how to fight through His word; how to use His word, and how to activate His words in our lives.
In Psalm 34:19, it says many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. Don’t get overwhelmed by the “many” part, but get excited about the fact that God promises to deliver you from everything you encounter. There is joy after this, but you’ve got to learn how to fight. Don’t give up, don’t give in. Victory is your promise, and God’s promise is your portion. So, fight! I pray this blessed you. Have the most amazing week. Blessings Flow.
