Faithful is defined as thorough in ones performance of duty; true to one’s word, promises, or vow; adhering firmly or devotedly; reliable or consistent.
You have been given the duty to DREAM; it is your right to DREAM. The DREAM of your heart was placed there by God. It is not by your own will that you are a desire to be great. We serve an almighty God, whom is great, and He dwells within us, therefore, we can also be great through Him. As you read in the Bible, you read stories of miracles, healings, victories, heroes and so on. All of these things were accomplished through one thing, “FAITH”. They were not technological advances as we are today, but they trusted that God would deliver, protect, heal, and perform miracles on their behalf……..their FAITH is what made it possible.
You must take the same attitude when it comes to the DREAM that God has placed within you. When attempting to accomplish goals, and DREAMS, sometimes the way can become very intimidating, frustrating, or doubtful; but those are all attacks of the adversary. Just as God knows that plans that He as for you; satan knows as well. He too, has taken a peak into your future, and he knows that through Christ you can and will be great!!! You can’t just DREAM; DREAM is just defined as the thought of it, but you must be a “FAITHFUL DREAMER”. A “faithful dreamer” is defined as someone who works the reality of their dream; they don’t allow their current circumstance to dictate whether DREAM is possible. A faithful DREAMER is one who believes in the promise of God. That regardless of where you stand right now, you shall reach your promise land. A faithful DREAMER is one who recognizes that their DREAM can’t be accomplished their own; a faithful DREAMER recognizes that though I face obstacles, detours, halts, or even some stops along the way, this isn’t the end of the road for me. For instance, you may come upon a road sign that states, “stay to the left, right lane closed” or “SLOW, road work ahead”. You may encounter these same changes ahead in your life and you pursue your DREAM. Your victory doesn’t lie in the DREAM, it lies in your FAITH. Becoming a FAITHFUL DREAMERS, helps you to recognize that you don’t stop working because you face some obstacles along the way, but that you have to work that much harder to get where you need to be. It means that you have to put forth more effort to overcome the trials. Don’t stop short of your goals, for it may just be over the horizon. Just as it is darkest before dawn, your goals are just through the clouds. Your DREAMS may inspire you, but your FAITH is what pushes you.
