You and I, we are in a time, in a space in our lives where we are praying, and expecting a change. God wants to turn over all the empty buckets in your life. He wants to empty all of the unnecessary baggage that is distracting and weighing you down from your purpose. He wants to rid your life of all the empty souls that are draining your battery, and sucking the very life out of you. Let them walk. You hold on because it is comfortable, and because it’s familiar. You think that on this journey you’ll be alone, and have no one to celebrate with. However, the people that God has for you is already waiting for you in the future. The people that will encourage you, motivate you, pray with and for you. These people, God’s people, are already in place. He just needs you to move your feet.
It’s a Time
A time for change.
A time for breakthrough.
A time for deliverance.
A time to be set apart.
A time for overcoming.
A time for repositioning.
If you know anything about buckets, with resting water, nothing good comes of that. They attract bugs, but even worse harvest mosquitoes. And if you’re anything like me, I HATE mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are only good for one thing, and that’s biting and sucking blood. So I implore you, to check those buckets in your life; those buckets disguised as serving a purpose (you know those friends and associates disguised as being supportive) but in reality, they are only breeding grounds meant to fester and hurt you. It’s time to turn those buckets over, and let them walk.
For what you thinking you’re losing, those individuals have already served their purpose in your life. The one that hurt and forsake you; the one that scandalized your same; the one that lied on you; the one that plotted against you; the one that betrayed you. The purpose has been served, so let them walk. For every one you lose, God can replace them with two. You have to be willing to walk, to let go, and to embrace your journey, understanding, that for all the hurt or betrayal, it all works for the good!
I’m reminded of a lesson that my Dad taught me as a child. It was a lesson about giving and receiving. He said, open your hand, and he placed some money in my hand. I held on tight because I didn’t want him to take the money back. Then, he pulled out more money and attempted to give it to me. However, I wasn’t able to receive the rest of the money because I was still holding on so tightly to the money he gave me the first time. He then asked, how are you able to receive if you can’t open your hand? The whole point of it, in order to get, you must be able to give. You have to be willing to give up what you have to receive what God has for you. It is only in giving that we make room to receive. God has so much for you, so many blessings stored up, if we only, give up! We don’t have to hoard anything, because God is the giver of all things.
I pray this has encouraged your mind, body and soul! I wish you a safe and fulfilled weekend! I love you!
