Your “Bring Back Partner”

Everyone needs a Bring Back Partner!!!

A “bring back partner” is defined as someone who brings you back on course when you start to venture off into dangerous territories.  Those dangerous territories can be complaining, arguing, being irrational, inconsiderate, hostile, picky, immoral, or unethical.
Often times, we can find ourselves in these dangerous territories without even realizing it.  We find something to complain about, instead of actually see the good in the situation.  The most dangerous thing about complaining is that it’s a revolving door; you’ll find yourself complaining from one thing to another.  And before you know it, you have complained about everything that’s wrong, and not taken a break to realize what God has allowed to be right.  It’s easy to be irrational once your feelings are involved.
This is a very toxic behavior, because a complainer can find themselves in a circle of other complainers.  So now, you are a part of a group of individuals that supports the behavior of complaining; they encourage your complaining and whining attitudes.  This is not the kind of circle that you want to be a part of, because complaining only leads to more complaining and other toxic behaviors.  Hence, complaining leads to worrying, worrying leads to frustrations, and frustration leads to stress
……see, there is absolutely no good that comes of this!!
I encourage you to surround yourself with individuals such as siblings, or friends that don’t mind bringing you back on course. In other words, everyone needs a “Bring Back Partner.  Someone that will not let you go astray too far; someone that will reel you back in when they see you are venturing off into dangerous territories; someone that doesn’t mind showing you the bright side; someone that can keep you in check when you are being irrational. I’m always reminded of a saying my mom would tell my siblings and I, “don’t worry about what didn’t happen, but look at what God did allowed to happen”.  What God allows to happen always outweighs what didn’t happen; the pros of God always outweighs the cons; and the good always seems to outshine the bad.
So anytime you feel that complaining spirit trying to surface, take a moment and contact your “bring back partner” and I assure you that he/she will bring things back into perspective.  Let’s give a huge round of applause to all the “Bring Back Partners” out there, and thank God for placing them in your life!!
I hope you have an amazing weekend! God loves you and I do too!
