Good morning from IYD!! I pray that each of you are having a great week thus far. Sometimes you just have to fight! Not with your fist, but with prayer. After watching the 2012 Women Thou Art Loose Conference: “The Pecking Order” by Pastor T.D Jake’s, I have a whole new perspective on life!!!
God always knows what you need, at the very moment that you need it. I was experiencing a situation that was full of uncertainty, doubt, and worry. It was causing me to become distracted, and I wasn’t focused on what I needed to focus on. For the Bible states, “those that keep their mind set on Him, He will keep them in perfect peace. Needless to say, my peace was being penetrated. A friend of mind, recommended me to go and listen to this sermon, “The Pecking Order”. Sometimes we can allow satan to distract us from our purpose because we worry about things instead of praying about things. So, I decided to watch the video, and all I can say is, “God was RIGHT on time”. Not that I didn’t believe or think that God wasn’t with me, but it help me to re-recognize His presence and His hand on my life. As the Bible states, God will never leave you or forsake you. It help me to put back into perspective, that God has strategically placed me where I am, and He will keep me as well. God will not bring you to a point, and then leave you to fight the battle alone. One thing that I am learning as I mature, is that God is very strategic, and we have to follow His plan. I’m learning that I cant win battles with swords, but I win my battles through prayer and faith. Even though God’s strategic planning may not be easy sometimes, but we must continue to follow the plan.
God positions us exactly where we are suppose to be. As Pastor Jake’s stated, “Where God guides, He provides”. God has given us everything we need to accomplish what He has placed us on this Earth to do. Sometimes we need a little push, and God will push us out of our comfort zone in order for our purpose to be fulfilled. We must have the courage, confidence, and Faith to stand on the Word of God. There is nothing like being in the right place at the right time. Where you are can become too small for the vision God has placed within you. Once you get a taste of God’s promise it keeps you pushing forward.
Pastor Jake’s, uses the analogy of baby chick and an egg! I wont try to explain it, as my explanation does it no justice. lol. I’m so happy for the vision & the promise of God for my life. Keep your head space and heart filled with Christ, and watch Him lead you into your destiny.
